Rant/Seasonal Spuffy

I've been avoiding the internet lately... I've had the time to check up on my f-list and stuff, but instead I've spent it working on vids and such for Seasonal Spuffy. This is the first time I've had completed items on my computer and haven't posted them anywhere. Part of me wants to tear my hair out with anxiousness, and the other part of me is super excited/nervous for April.

I wouldn't say I'm on a roll necessarily, but I want my day for SS to be a Spuffy!Extravaganza so I'm definitely going overboard.

I don't want to say how many things I've got in the works, cause this is my first time participating in Seasonal Spuffy and I want it to be a surprise.

Patience may be my middle name but it is definitely not a virtue of mine at times.

 

To all those who are participating in Seasonal Spuffy, feel free to throw ideas my way if you want. I'll do the same for you if I can :)

I'm learning to make [bad] icons (*points to bad icon for this comment - it's my first, don't laugh!), so I was planning on offering maybe five [bad] icons along with my [better] picspams, because I don't seem to have a muse that appreciates how much I want to be able to write something beautiful and moving and squee-worthy for seasonal_spuffy (*shakes fist at muse*). I know exactly how you feel - it's like when you got your best friend something awesome for Christmas and can't wait for them to open it because it's so perfect. In other news, I'm very excited to see your vids! You always do amazing work and I'm always excited to see your stuff!

I love the icon!!

I'm making some myself, and I'm no pro at it, but it's Spuffy so I don't care lol.

I actually wrote a drabble, because this ONE FREAKIN LINE would not leave my brain, but I'm afraid I'm no good at writing.

I'm so obsessed with vids right now! But when I first started making them I always used fast songs (that did NOT turn out well lol), and now I'm stuck on the slower songs and while they fit at times I can't help but think I'm making the same thing over and over again. So I've been branching out lately and It's posed some sort of a challenge for me.

I know exactly how you feel - it's like when you got your best friend something awesome for Christmas and can't wait for them to open it because it's so perfect.

YES YES YES! It's like the perfect community for me as well because making Spuffy vids is something I already do and enjoy but the wait is seriously killing me.

In other news, I'm so looking forward to your picspams!! Beautiful Spuffy all wrapped up in pretty images!! I can't wait!!

I feel you! Admittedly, I don't have to wait that long because I wisely picked an early date, but the wait is killing me. I started working on my art way too soon and now it's tempting to post it somewhere, just so people could see it. Argh! Now I seriously consider drawing more AND finishing the vid I started. Wouldn't it be a little sad to be confronted with so many beautiful work you guys do and me presenting only one thing?

You should be aware how much inspiration you give me every time I watch your stuff. The wait isn't killing just you, you know.

that comment seriously filled me with joy...and also a little nervousness, everyones their own worst critic right? lol

and I was thinking about picking an earlier date! But then all this doubt kept entering my brain, like what if I won't finish anything before it's my day! PANIC!
