So I entered my 'Ones Who Stand' video into this fandom faceoff contest that Andrea at the 'Art of Vidding' is hosting. Right off the bat my video was up against leviathan101 's gorgeous Spike character study 'Thrown Away' and of course ended up losing. 

I'm a little dissapointed I'm outta the race already in the first round though.  

Suffice it to say, even though I don't like pimping meself, I'm in the running for viewers choice.
There are some pretty awesome vids to vote for, so you should all go vote for your favs :)

This makes me sadpants. But I voted in the free for all, so there's that. Typing this comment reminds me there's a wee glitch or 2 with the new layouts. The comment boxes are in white text, so I can just barely see what I'm typing. Also, on my page all the links are the same color as the rest of the text, so you can't see where I've inserted one. Can I fix it?

I'm sending you big hugs for the disappointment of being ousted so soon. The Ones Who Stand is the superior vid from both a technical and a storywise standpoint. But, the other vid was decent and as we know, hardly anything ever can beat Spike :(.

You know, this video is probably one of my favorites of all time, no joke. So I went and voted for it in the voter's choice, and then I went to go watch the video you lost to, to see what all the fuss was about. And I love Spike, like, love love love, so I watched it and imo, I still think your's is better. It really touches me right here in my heart =) and also? I love love love the song. Greg Laswell FTW.

I'm so sory, sweetie! Both your video and Leviatan's are from my all-time favorites. I was beyond shocked that the two best vids in the race, IMO, were against each other in the very first round.
