So, I just signed up for

seasonal_spuffy !!
And this time I went with the earlier window, because last time, the waiting almost killed me.

Spuffy Extravaganza the Sequel here I come!

I'm planning on spending the next couple days over there, reading all the entries from the last round, because I totally sucked at commenting on everyones works.

I'm super excited! It seems like I haven't made a vid in ages, even though youtube tells me my last video was made in June. I would have had something done sooner if my vegas didn't crash.

And I'm working on things. I've actually finished 2 videos since then, but glitches and overall dissatisfaction has kept me from posting them. So vids will be worked on and completed! But they may be saved for my day...so you may not see a video from me for a bit.

however, I've started making silly little picspams to make up for it :)

so tumblr is giving me a hard time. I'm trying to upload a gif I made, and it doesn't exceed the file limit, and it keeps saying 'error uploading photo' I even put it in photobucket and tried posting it with the url, and it still wouldn't let me.
*sad face*

so I'll just upload them here for now.
I've been in a picspam mood lately, and I wanted to try my hand at making a large gif. so that's what I did.

Because I love music so much, I decided that THIS month will have an extra CD.

It was My boyfriend and I's anniversary on the 4th and we had a nice relaxing few days up at his parents house in Southern Oregon. I told him what I was doing with the monthly cds and he liked it, so I had the idea to make a special anniversary mix and we both discussed the songs and incorporated them into the cd.
I'm gonna tell you right now, that there a couple cheesy power ballads in this mix, and I AM UNASHAMED lol.
At least a few of these songs will be familiar to some of you, but I hope you still enjoy it!

I made a decision regarding my award site. and that decision was to close down the award section and use the site purely to host my videos and their download links. I may or may not hold a contest when I feel I have adequate time.

ok, so I have a stupid question to ask.
I'm going to a do a huge uploading party in about 10 minutes here.
I'll be trying to upload all my videos to tumblr and get them all legitimate download links, tumble links, and streaming links, but I'd like to make some sort of archive for them here as well....

3 videos in 3 days?! WTF is going on?!
I'll tell you what's going on.
I've been afraid of something for a while now. The fact that all my videos are about Buffy/Spike. Not that I don't love them! CAUSE I DO WITH MY WHOLE HEART AND I WILL CONTINUE TO VID THEM FOREVER AND EVER!! But I've been afraid that I keep making the same video over and over just with different songs. There's only so many times you can use the same scene and make it look different you know? Well you all seem to have faith in me when it comes to my ability to make videos different. which THANK YOU!
So my foray into Community vids was a nice change of pace for me, cause I've been able to come back to my WIP folder with a set of new eyes.
So that's what I've been doing. I've been opening my WIPS one by one, and determining why I stopped them, if I should scrap them, or if I can bust em out.

This is one I'd been working on for a while with the help of

ever_neutral (this one's for you!) who kindly agreed to beta for me and gave me wonderful feedback on my progress. And it's finally done!

THIS VIDEO. UGH!

I had to double check when I made my video 'Blank Page' because this video has apparently been in my WIP folder for almost a year now.
*hangs head*
I'll make a video, complete it, and then go back to work on this one, and over the span of ALMOST A YEAR, my vidding style gradually changes, so everytime I went back to work on it, I would CHANGE IT ALL! I am not joking when I say that I have 6 clips of the same 35 seconds of this video, redone, over, and over and over. In fact I may upload them later just to show you how much this video has changed from the original one I started.

and guess what! I still don't flippin like it. There are parts I like, I just don't know. UGH I DONT KNOW!

and Jamie! beautiful Jamie, I honestly don't know how she puts up with me sometimes. For real. She is like, the best person ever in the whole entire world.

I've been making a lot of Community videos lately, but rest assured I will always and forever make Spuffy vids, for they are my heart.

I had originally planned on making a video to this entire song, then I got frustrated and made a vidlet to it. But I couldn't let the song go.

So here it is, at least 3 times the length of Blank Page.

Also, I'm happy to announce that in 2010, I managed to finish 10 videos, halfway through 2011 and I'm already at 13! Here's hoping I didn't just jinx myself!! :D

I just spent 9 hours (the time literally flew by) schooling myself on a new livejournal theme, and creating a new layout based on my favorite episode of Community's 2nd Season.

I'm reworking one that I made for my brother. YEAH, I SAID IT, my younger brother suggested a song and wanted me to vid Jeff/Annie for him. Our brains are so in sync J/A wise that I'd already started a vid for them to the song he suggested the night before he suggested it. #TRUEFACT
I got my brother into the show a couple weeks back, and he watched the first season in one day (same as me) and is currently all caught up and wanting more Jeff/Annie.
My brother lives in a different city then me, so we rarely see each other. So when he contacted me through yahoo the day after I told him to watch the show our conversation went like this
Bro: I watched it all
Me: THE WHOLE SEASON?!

Bro: yeah

Me: what did you think?

Bro: I need more Jeff and Annie in my life

Me: EPIC FLAIL!

Seriously, my brother is not the type of person to ship. In fact he used to make fun of me for actively shipping Spike/Buffy, not that he didn't like them or the show, just that it consumed my brain and he didn't understand.

NOW HE UNDERSTANDS!

since then he's came over twice and we've re-watched every episode together. Right now, he's the only piece of my tiny family I'm in touch with and it makes my heart so happy.

I'm so sad that Community is over! I'm not sure if I can wait a whole summer for it to come back. I love this show so much.

But, some good news is that I've finished my first full length cast video for this fandom! and I'm actually kinda proud of it...
I've been wanting to use this song since I saw someone vid That 70's Show to it a while ago. I know I had the video favorited but now I can't find it anymore and that makes me sad. Cause now I can't thank whoever made it for the inspiration to make this.

This is a cast video, but I felt the song itself spoke more to Jeffs character arc, so I placed clips appropriately from his POV.
